Hey There 

My name is Karla Lacey and Ive been handling ever since I was 10 years of age, Although I was brought up around the dog world. I'm currently residing in Brisbane, Australia. I'm currently the 2nd generation who have owned/shown dogs in my family. My mother currently owns & exhibits  Staffordshire Bull Terriers, under the "Toplace" prefix which I Co-Own with her. We have had great success in the show ring, with both our prefix and others. From the age of ten I was very eager to enter the what I used to call the "Big Show" and then the "bug" had bit me. I'm currently one of Australia's Top Junior Handlers, Ive qualified for the Queensland Junior Handlers Final numerous times but more competitively in the last 2 years. I Have also placed at "Toowoomba Royal". Ive handled many different breeds over the last 6 years but more specialising in the Terrier group, Utility Group and Working Group, I'm currently handling for Toplace Staffordshire Bull Terriers & Rozate Australian Shepherds with who I co-own a dog "Rozate Xpect The UnXpected". My greatest achievement so far is handling Australian Champion Swanky Ooh Lah Lah "Memi" who I love so much, and have handled to her AUST Championship and currently half way towards her grand title.

I would like to thank my mother, Jenine Lacey for all her advise, travel time, love & support. Kate Dourley for allowing me to handle her beautiful dogs. Michelle Hickey, for all her support in entering a new breed and supporting me through it and all her advise. Stef Davis & Teighlor Bearne for giving me a laugh at every dog show no matter what, and always being there for me.
